Pultrusion is the most economical process for the production of fibre reinforced composites. This process can be used to produce both hollow and solid profiles. Fiber reinforcement is achieved by glass or carbon fibers. These can be oriented in tensile direction, but also as fabric or fabrics in other directions. Radius profiles can be curved profiles in the plane as well as curved profiles with an incline. The matrix can be polyester, vinyl ester, epoxy, polyurethane or methyl methacrylate resins.
Pultrusion profiles can meet many requirements:
- High rigidity
- High strength
- Light profiles
- High glass transition temperature (Tg)
We would be pleased to advise you in selecting the optimum combination of fibre material and matrix for your application.
New profiles are made ready for series production in our Technical Center. Our team of technicians and engineers will work out the optimum process parameters for your profile in order to enable trouble-free series production. In the later series, the quality of the profiles is ensured by automatic process data acquisition and permanent profile monitoring.
Tried and tested load carrier systems are available for shipping the profiles, which enable smooth transport of the profiles.
